Sliding Wardrobe doors

With many profiles to choose from with a variety of colours to co ordinate with the doors & your room colour.

Panels can be in laminated board, mirror or coloured glass. There is an soft close mechanism for sliding doors. We can do an L shape wardrobes with the Lazuryt profile that given easy access to the corner with no central support- the doors are held closed by special magnetic strips.
All our door slide on a top & bottom rail & have an anti -jumping mechanism to stop the door jumping out at the bottom.

Komandor offers two types of systems where all door profiles are adjusted:

STEEL SYSTEMS are characterized by high quality of manufacturing. Steel tapes are specially prepared and shaped pursuant to the particular form. Frames and tracks are protected from corrosion by a layer of galvanic zinc on both sides, then they are covered by base varnish and coat varnish. Applied lacquer gives a great and aesthetic appearance to these products.

Speaking on high quality of materials and varnish applied to tape production it is worth-emphasizing that there is no risk of rupture or chip of a varnish in the course of shaping either during mechanical profiling, rolling or bending. Coat layer (depending on the applied colour) may be covered by a polyester or poly(vinyl) chloride cover.

ALUMINIUM SYSTEMS are exceptional because of the fact that the sliding system is hidden inside the frame so that the bottom carts and top guide bars are invisible. Profiles are obtained by tape shaping in  particular form. The tracks and frames are made of the aluminium alloy and covered with brown, white and black polyester varnish, then covered by galvanic coat by anodizing – colours: natural anode, gold anode, champaign anode or the PVC cover in wood-alike colours.

Essential elements of a system:

Profiles (described also as frames or handles) are vertical elements being a part of door frame and at the same time they are used instead of a handle. They are available in multiple shapes, colours and widths.

Sliding elements ( carts and guide bars): Bottom cart is an important part which must be durable because it holds the whole load of the door. Due to regulatory bolts the door may be perfectly fitted to even irregular walls. It is worth to mention that the carts have bearings and are covered by special graphite grease. Komandor gives 5-years warranty for sliding system, however on the basis of performed technological tests the estimated time of fail-safe usage is 15 years.

The top guide bar is a connector of door hardware. These are two independent rolling wheels, keeping the door in vertical position which at the same time facilitate easy sliding of a door.

Additional elements:

Buffer tapes suppress the effect of punch of a door to the side wall of a wardrobe. Seal tapes (brushes) with long or short hair which prevent from dust getting into the wardrobe. Gas shutter brakes and softly shuts the door. In Sliding doors the shock absorbers were applied which prevents from hand trap. This type of solution is recommended especially in children rooms.
