Sliding doors and folding-sliding doors are the perfect solution for narrow hallways and corridors where swinging doors cannot be used because of lack of space. We can create a cupboard out of the space available, using the whole space from the floor straight to the ceiling, all the while staying in keeping with the style of an interior. This eliminates the need for additional pieces of furniture in the hallway or free standing / wall fixed coat hooks.

For the larger lobby or hallway we can divide the space between the cloakroom and the utility area. Additionally, we can fit cupboards and racks made in tubular and column systems.

In most hallways there are recesses of non-standard size and these can be adapted for a small cloakroom or wardrobe. In this case, Komandor advises that the rooms be separated by installing a single suspended door without bottom guide bar or a traditional door made in the same style as the rest of the room.

Even tiny recesses can have a use. Where the installation of a folding or sliding door is impossible, a tilting door can be fitted creating a hidden place for shoes, books or seasonal items.
